At The Gentleman Farm, our subscriptions are designed to deliver thoughtfully produced farm and lifestyle goods on a recurring basis. Because subscription items are prepared and reserved in advance, the policies below explain how shipping, changes, and returns are handled—always with fairness and transparency.
Subscription Orders
How Subscriptions Work
When you enroll in a subscription, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or as otherwise selected). Your subscription will continue until you pause or cancel it.
You will receive confirmation of each scheduled shipment and billing cycle.
Managing Your Subscription
You may manage your subscription at any time by:
- Logging into your account, or
- Contacting us directly for assistance
Depending on timing, changes may apply to the next billing cycle rather than the current one.
Shipping for Subscriptions
Order Processing
Subscription orders are prepared in advance and typically ship within a designated subscription fulfillment window. Shipping dates may vary slightly due to farm operations, weather, or seasonal availability.
Tracking information is provided when your shipment leaves our facility.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience but are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather events, or customs processing (for international orders) may affect delivery.
International Subscriptions
If international shipping is available, subscribers are responsible for:
- Import duties, taxes, VAT, or customs fees
- Compliance with local laws
We cannot guarantee international delivery timelines due to customs processing.
Risk of Loss
Once a subscription order is tendered to the carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the carrier. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us—we’ll do our best to help.
Returns & Refunds for Subscriptions
Our Philosophy
Because subscription items are often farm-produced, consumable, or prepared specifically for you, returns are limited. That said, we care deeply about your experience and encourage you to reach out if something isn’t right.
Non-Returnable Subscription Items
Unless required by law, the following subscription items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Perishable or consumable goods
- Farm-produced, raw, or minimally processed products
- Feed, supplements, or ingestible items
- Items already shipped as part of a subscription cycle
Damaged or Incorrect Subscription Shipments
If your subscription shipment arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 30 of delivery and include:
- Your order or subscription number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos of the item and packaging
When appropriate, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.
Missed or Delayed Deliveries
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances beyond our control. If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Subscription Changes, Pauses & Cancellations
Changes & Skips
You may pause, skip, or modify your subscription before the cutoff date shown in your account or confirmation email. Once an order enters processing, it cannot be changed.
Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time prior to the next billing cycle.
Charges already processed and shipments already prepared or shipped are non-refundable.
Payment Issues
If a recurring payment fails, we may retry the charge or suspend your subscription until payment is resolved. We are not responsible for missed shipments due to failed payments.
