Carrying the Tradition Forward
The traditional gentleman’s farm was a small plot of land, often just one or two acres, created as a personal sanctuary for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. It was a place to care for the soil through regenerative farming practices, nurture animals, and enjoy the quiet rhythm of life. People worked the land not out of necessity but out of love for the process and the peace it brought, often growing hemp seed for various uses, including hemp bedding. We keep that spirit alive.
HOW WE MAKE IT MATTERS
Every product begins with the land. Our hemp, which is used to create high-quality hemp bedding, is grown by co-founder and environmental scientist Lucas Evans, a seventh-generation farmer in Taylor, Texas, where an old cotton gin has been reborn as a modern fiber mill.
Our organic chicken feed, made from hemp seed and other carefully sourced ingredients, comes from a certified mill in Northern New Mexico, where every component is grown and milled with care. Together, these roots in the American Southwest reflect our belief that true quality starts close to home.
From the fiber we harvest to the packaging we choose, every step is guided by care for the land and respect for the people who work it. By using hemp and perennial grasses in our regenerative farming practices, we help restore soil health, reduce deforestation, and create sustainable opportunities for American farmers.
